Ruth Edith Mollett

Ruth Edith Mollett, 74, world traveler, horticulture enthusiast, and ornithologist passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at OSU Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, due to complications from a three-year battle with ALS. An elementary school teacher for more than four decades and well-loved by her many students, Ruth was a loving mother, wife and grandmother who enjoyed attending her Warfield High School class reunions, Delta Kappa Gamma events, and driving her convertible. Sandra Rose Kolak

Sandra Rose Kolak, age 68, of Maryville, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 after a battle with ALS i.e. Lou Gehrig's Disease. She was born in Inez, Martin County, Kentucky. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, Maryville. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid tennis player, quilter and birdwatcher with over 600 species of birds on her "Life List." Preceded in death by: Father, Cecil C. Muncy; Mother, Vina Horn Muncy Glore. Lake M. Sluss

Lake M. Sluss, 54, died at her home on Tuesday, March 20, 1999. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Church.

Born Lakie Muncy in Martin County, Ky. on May 31, 1944 to the late William H. Muncy and Telia Muncy, of Pilgrim, Ky. She was preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Muncy.

Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" Sluss; one son, Robert Sluss, II, Pilgrim, Ky.; one daugther, Lynette Allen, of Michigan; one sister, Ruth Edith Mollett, of Ohio; and one granddaughter, Scarlett Elizabeth Allen, also of Michigan.
